Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene are basic human rights. They should be normal part of daily life for everyone, everywhere – but they aren’t. Thats why WaterAid exists.
WaterAid unites advisors, debate shapers, policy makers, engineers, campaigners and fundraisers in a common goal: getting water, toilets and hygiene to the millions of people still living without these basic human rights.
By working together, we can enable entire communities to unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.
Why did we choose WaterAid?
We have always been really passionate about everyone in the world having the right to a good standard of living, no matter which country or under which circumstances you are born. Growing up in Australia and the US, every time you turn the tap on or flush the toilet you don’t give it a second thought. It’s hard to imagine millions of people who don’t have that privilege.
We chose WaterAid because they believe in long term fixes and enabling entire communities to have these basic human rights. Help us achieve our goal of $1000 by Route 1, Seattle to Singapore, and together we’ll change people’s lives for the better.
